You're Invited!
Wiregrass Blues Society - July Monthly Gathering
Tuesday, July 15
6:00 PM
Benchmark Craft Beer & Wines – Ozark, AL
Join us for an evening of music, memories, and community as we gather to honor the life and legacy of the late William “Willie” Burke.
“My friends call me Willie and I’m just a crazy long-haired dude who plays music.” – Willie Burke
Willie was more than a musician—he was a friend to many, a free spirit, and a true blues soul who left a lasting mark on all who knew him. Let’s raise a glass, share some stories, and celebrate the man we all loved.
Live music by Michael VanDusen & Josh Reeves – "Mike & Josh" A special tribute performance in Willie’s memory.
Come as you are and let the blues bring us together.
Hosted by the Wiregrass Blues Society – keeping the blues alive in the Wiregrass Area.

An annual Wiregrass Blues Society membership lasts one year from the day of joining or renewing. Your membership helps support our mission to Keep the Blues alive! Members benefit by receiving discounted pricing for performances, merchandise, and programs, and a subscription to our monthly e-newsletter. Most importantly, members can vote on important WBS member decisions and at board elections.
These performances are made possible by a grant from the Alabama State Council on the Arts, the National Endowment for the Arts, the Alabama Humanities Alliance, and our faithful Sponsors.
The Wiregrass Blues Society is a non-profit art organization that aims to keep the blues alive in the Wiregrass! We create annual programming and monthly live performances. We preserve local music history and culture throughout the year while entertaining the community.
Monthly meetings are open and free to the public. However, we’d love it if you become a member! General annual memberships are $35. Members receive special discounts on admission to our signature events and a subscription to our e-news and insider information.
